Namco's ExerBeat finally came out a few weeks ago. Ever since I saw the ExerBeat game trailer, I have been anxiously awaiting this game. It has definitely piqued my interest.
ExerBeat is billed as a rhythm based fitness game containing over 150 exercises ranging from yoga to aerobics to Latin dance to karate. So far, in the few weeks since its release, ExerBeat has been seeing very positive reviews.
As of today, Amazon.com reviewers have rated ExerBeat with no less than four stars, with the majority giving it five stars! While it is being compared to Wii Fit Plus, you'll see lots comments describing how much users are loving this fitness game.
Family Friendly Gaming has also given ExerBeat a very favorable review.
I had mistakenly assumed that ExerBeat would be available in all stores. Well, you know what they say about making an assumption, because I was wrong! I found out through a post at Arrow Dynamic Mom that ExerBeat is not being sold in brick and mortar stores at this time. Some stores, such as Target, do carry it through their online sites. Although you can't get it in stores, you will be pleased with the price. At $19.99, that is a great price for a newly released Wii fitness game.
I can't wait to try out ExerBeat. Have you tried it yet? Comment with your opinions!
I luv ExerBeat (I also use EA Sports Active 2.0) and I've left my review on Amazon. It will work your upper body. For $20 this is the bomb and I've suggested this to people who can't deal with the physicality of EASA but want to move. Also for MOMs who Home School, I can see this being used as part of the curriculum especially with the Walk-Around-The-World feature. You can get the kiddies to study one of the cities or countries they walk-through.
ReplyDeleteI still haven't picked this one up, but I plan to soon. Thanks for giving me more incentive. I'm glad to hear of another positive experience with it.
